We are currently seeking a Senior Renewable Engineer to join our Auckland based team. We can offer an opportunity for you to develop a long-term career and growth within an established New Zealand-owned company. This hybrid role is predominately based in Auckland; however, we are open to candidates located in other parts of the North Island. This is a full-time permanent position.
Working within a small team, you will be contributing your skills and knowledge to plan, design, and when required, to project manage the delivery of renewable energy projects, contracts, tenders, and early-stage proposals. Our ideal candidate will be a Renewable Energy Engineer or an Electrical Engineer with experience working within the renewable energy sector.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications, attributes, and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years’ work experience in the electrical industry, preferably renewable power generation and distribution.
- Electrical design knowledge and relevant software skills
- Project management experience (mid-sized projects)
- A problem solver with a solution-focused attitude
- The ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Strong and effective time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong computer literacy skills
- Have excellent customer service skills
- An openness to change and adapts easily to new work demands and conditions
