Manager - Project Delivery
About the role:
We are searching for a passionate and skilled candidate to Lead our Projects Division in the Auckland Region. You will be based out of the Auckland, Penrose branch and will report directly to the Auckland Regional Manager. As the Head of Projects - Auckland, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project delivery team, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the team, and driving business growth and an ongoing pipeline of confirmed and potential projects in the Auckland region and South Pacific. This position requires strong leadership and B2B business development and/or sales skills, in-depth knowledge of project management, and the ability to manage both people and resources.
About you:
- Relevant degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Highly developed project management & coaching capabilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities, demands, and risks effectively.
- Proficient in analysing complex technical information and providing insightful recommendations.
- Proven ability to effectively manage labour resourcing for projects, including workforce planning, scheduling, and allocation.
- Expertise in optimizing labor productivity while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Experience in business to business sales and business development.
