Supervisor
McKay are currently seeking two experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our team on an exciting solar farm project in Te Aroha. This is a fixed-term contract with immediate starts available.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of an on-site electrical team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you’ll be a key player in delivering this project on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians and apprentices on site
- Ensure compliance with all electrical, health, and safety regulations
- Provide hands-on support and technical guidance where required
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality control
- Maintain clear communication between the team and project management
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Electrical Practicing License
- Proven experience in team supervision within the electrical industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A sound understanding of electrical and health & safety legislation
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A current NZ driver's licence
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
